...I am SO READY to have this baby. I can't imagine growing for 3 more weeks and 6 more days...it's just not possible. :) I agree with those of you who thought I might go into labor before my scheduled c-section date.
I actually ended up in the hospital for about 6 hours on Saturday (always a fun way to spend a BEAUTIFUL Saturday! :)) I had been having regular contractions since Friday night (probably about 5-7 mins apart) These were not the same intensity as the ,"I'm in LABOR contractions" however, since I have a planned c-section, and my hospital doesn't even do VBACS, they want me to come in before I get to the intense, can't talk through the contractions, contractions. I called Saturday morning and sure enough they said to come in. Once I was there they hooked me up and monitored the contractions and after seeing that yes, indeed, I was having regular, good contractions, and had even started dialating, they decided to give me a shot of Tributerol to stop the contractions. After monitoring me for another hour and 1/2 or so after the shot, the nurse took my readout to the dr. Unfortunately the first dose didn't wipe out the contractions like they had hoped. A second dose of Tributerol was administered and I was hooked up to an IV (always so fun ;)). The second dose really helped and the contractions stopped (for the most part). Unfortunately the Tributerol makes you feel kinda like you have the flu....so even though I was done, I was not feeling well at all. I just rested the remainder of the day.
Well, the contractions are back...though not quite as regular as they were on Friday night/Saturday. Sooooo....needless to say, I'm ready. I have things in order around the house, I've stocked up on anything and everything I possibly can and have even started making sure that the freezer is well stocked. Maybe she'll mellow out and I'll end up just going in as planned on March 2, but at this point, I just can't imagine!!

Oh! I will be praying. This must be a week for babies. Beth Moore's daughter (Amanda) just went in labor today! Better get on the treadmill o mine and do some praying for you pregos and these darling baby girls.
Also, you've just bumped my "get-Elliana's-gift-made" up to VERY high priority! I've got to try and get some homemade goodness off in the mail to you by tomorrow so you can have a couple of the items at the hospital.
Love you so much, Jodie! It's been so fun reconnecting with you. Also, I got your Easter stuff in the mail yesterday. There is some great stuff in there.
You are so sweet, Janna! Thank you for the prayers. I'm excited to see what arrives in the mail for sweet Elliana, I'll be sure to keep you posted on all the "happenings".
Sorry it took so long to get those resources..I knew it didn't get in the mail on Thursday like I said it would, but it took an entire week to get to you...strange.
Love you!
woohoo! can't wait, jodie. keep us updated. this baby is comin soon!
Can I do reflex testing on your baby when it's born?
hang in there Jodie! I hope things get better soon, in one form or another. I love how on-top-of-it you are though!
Wow!! I didn't know you already made an appearance at the hospital. No fun getting hooked up with the IV's. And more so feeling yucky at the end. I hope since you wrote this that you are doing much better. :)
