Olivia Rose

Yesterday we brought dinner to Hylke's sister and brother in law. It was fun seeing Olivia again, and of course, big brother Carter. We had a nice time hanging out and having some sweet cuddle time with Olivia. I helped Joy Esther download her pictures onto their computer and while focusing on that, I forgot to take pics of my own! Here are some from her first week home.

We're back!

**I'm not quite done with this yet, but I just had to get a post up!! I'll post later with a couple pics of our newest niece, Olivia Rose, born 4/12/08**

Noah and I are home from spending some good time with my family. My Grammy (dad's mom) flew in last week from North Carolina to celebrate her 86th birthday! You would NEVER know that she is 86...she has more energy than most people half her age. Grammy has a very special place in my heart, so it was wondeful spending some time with her. Wednesday was her actual birthday so we all (minus Hylke) celebrated with a delicious steak dinner at my parents house. We had a great time!

My sis and her beautiful family with Grammy:

Grammy blowing out her candle on the strawberry shortcake...yummy!

For her birthday, she and my mom took a Mexican Riviera cruise...they are cruising as I type:
After dinner we all enjoyed some time in the spa:
Like I mentioned above, our family grew this weekend. Hylke's sister, Joy Esther had a baby girl on Saturday. Everything went very smoothly and she was released fromt he hospital on Saturday night!! Hylke's brother and his wife are expecting their 3rd, another girl, in just over 2 weeks!! That'll make 3 girls and 3 boys (grandchildren) on Hylke's side.

Look at me go!

Noah has been cruising around the house, walking as fast as he can holding onto whatever he can! I took this video of him walking with his toy!

Update

Many of you have been following Tricia's journey with me. I wanted to update you all and let you know that they got "the call" and Tricia is being prepped for her double lung transplant. Please pray that these lungs will be the perfect match for Tricia, and that the surgery would be a complete sucess. What an exciting time!
